Tainan Dalpra
Born on November 6, 2000, in Florianópolis, Brazil, Tainan Dalpra is a black belt middleweight and one of the most accomplished Jiu‑Jitsu athletes of his generation.
His journey in martial arts began under the guidance of his father, who was a blue belt at the time. Motivated by his parents to stay active, Tainan explored a variety of sports—soccer, boxing, Muay Thai, judo—before discovering Jiu‑Jitsu. From the first class, he fell in love with the art.
Two pivotal moments have defined his career thus far:
• At just 14 years old, he stepped onto the mat for his first superfight in Moscow, Russia—an experience that profoundly changed his path.
• Years later, he claimed his first black belt world title, forever inscribing his name in the history books.

Some of Tainan’s top accomplishments include:
- IBJJF World Champion (Black Belt) – 3x
- IBJJF Pan American Champion (Black Belt) – 4x
- IBJJF European Champion (Black Belt) – 3x
- IBJJF Brazilian National Champion (Black Belt) – 2x
- IBJJF Grand Slam Champion – 2x

On the mats, his gator roll showcases his dynamic and creative fighting style. Off the mats, Tainan cherishes time with his family, traveling, and exploring new places.
When asked about a champion’s mindset, Tainan believes it cannot be summed up in a single word. Instead, it’s a blend of mindset, preparation, and skills—with two cornerstones that stand out: vision and ambition.
